In a romantic yet medieval setting filled with royal red and purple curtains, red chandeliers, and candle lit tables; Liquid Volume Lounge creates a perfect vibe for their house band. The most distinctive part of the band is their ability to improvise their songs in the moment. The lounge has a series of band members that perform together in different groups on given nights. This past Friday night included 3 band members; Jimmy Keegan, Murve Douglas, and Walter Ino. On other nights there can be more or less band members and instruments because the entire lounge performance is based off of impromptu. According to Walter, the band members had only known each other for a few months, and had only performed together once before. While Murve plays the Bass with suave technique, Walter played the Guitar and Singing most songs. The band miraculously played every song perfectly with simultaneous beat and tempo. The band took song requests and also played some of their favorite songs. With Jimmy vigorously playing the Drums and singing various songs, the crowd all began to dance. The band kept excitement and humor throughout the nightclub crowd with jokes and comedy between their extemporized set lists. The band overall played all of their songs flawlessly with clips of witticism throughout the night. Playing an array of genres from Jason Mraz and Bob Marley to Alice in Chains. Walter’s voice transforms with every note to hit the original track perfectly on key. Meanwhile, Murve created amusement as he danced around with his untamable and rockin’ hair. The band ended with an intense drum solo from Jimmy. Inclusively, the band successfully created a night full of leisure and enthusiasm for everyone who attended Liquid Volume Lounge, illustrating that most performances follow with similar yet various talent.
